Capping fps to a solid 120 FPS / 8.3 FT sadly didn't solve it neither (which is very weird). The frametimes are all over the place in this game. (Maybe it's just a placebo, but maaaybe its a tiny bit more fluid now. Didn't solve my annoying micro jittering tho. I finally got my Gsync OSD counter working. Didn't solve the map stuttering/jittering. TLDR: Gsyncg OSD fixed with Steam Launch Commands or Windows Disabling Fullscreen Optimization in ck3.exe. Nothing changes.ĭoes anyone know what I could be missing here? Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I've set the FPS cap to everything from 60 to 144, and tried it with the cap disabled. I dropped down to 1080p and 60 hz, but it didn't help. I've tried turning gsync off, but then it just has a bit of screen tearing on top of the stuttering. I've tried turning all the in-game settings down, but it didn't help. The issue persists no matter what I do to my settings. It is super smooth, then jerks, then super smooth, then jerks. When scrolling, the game freezes for a quarter of a second every second or so. So, I should be able to play CK3 without a problem, right? I have all settings turned to max, gsync on, and the game is beautiful and smooth until I move my mouse to the edge of the screen to scroll around the map. My processor is a Ryzen 5 5600x, my video card is an RTX 3070, I have 32 GB of RAM at 3600 MHz, I'm using a Samsung 970 EVO NVMe SSD, and my monitor is a 1440p 144 hz Acer xg270hu. Currently, /r/CrusaderKings is operating its seventh communal game.Ī few days ago I finished building a new computer, and today my new monitor came in.
